Senior Merchandiser Overview

 

Our client is looking for a Senior Merchandiser to join the fashion division, who will be responsible for managing the merchandising process, from planning to execution.

 

 

Senior Merchandiser Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, forecast and manage inventory levels
  • Take responsibility for developing departmental sales, stock, intake plans, profit and markdowns
  • Advise and lead more junior members of staff
  • Create and deliver presentations to senior management to provide insight into the business and make recommendations
  • Full WSSI management

 

 

Senior Merchandiser Skills and Experience

 

  • Extremely strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

 

Senior Merchandiser Additional Information

 

This is a full time, office based position which is commutable from some areas of the South East, and easily accessible by trains.
