International Sales Manager Overview

An established accessories supplier is looking to appoint an International Sales Manager to support growth across global markets. The role can be based in Hong Kong, China, or Europe.

This position will focus on developing new business with volume retailers and supermarkets, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s international customer base. It is a commercially driven role suited to someone with strong industry contacts or the ability to build a new sales pipeline.

International Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across international markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with retailers, supermarkets, buying offices, and distributors
  • Develop a pipeline of customers through networking, outreach, and industry contacts
  • Present product collections and company capabilities to potential clients
  • Work closely with design and production teams to develop ranges for customers
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through to order placement
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth product development and delivery
  • Attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
  • Provide regular sales updates and market feedback

International Sales Manager Skills and Experience

  • Experience in sales or business development within fashion accessories, apparel, textiles, or similar products
  • Strong contacts within retail, supermarkets, or buying offices is advantageous
  • Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own sales activity
  • Fluent English required (Mandarin or Cantonese beneficial depending on location)
  • Willingness to travel internationally

International Sales Manager Additional Information

This role can be based in Hong Kong, China, or Europe and could suit either a locally based candidate or an expatriate with the right experience. The position may also be structured on a direct employment or agency basis.

A competitive basic salary is offered alongside a commission structure, providing strong earning potential.
