Product Technologist – Home Textiles Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Product Technologist – Home Textiles to join a thriving company.
The Product Technologist will work across home textiles and will follow products throughout the entire development process, working closely with the sales, merchandising and buying departments.
The Product Technologist – Home Textiles Responsibilities;
- Creating detailed tech packs and specifications to be sent to the factories,
- Assessing pre-production, pre-shipment samples, and sealed samples, flagging up any issues with the factories
- Monitoring and updating the critical path
- Liaising with customers and regularly attend meetings, as well as completing seasonal workbooks
- Signing off style files and care labels in line with the legal requirements
Additional Information
The Product Technologist – Home Textiles will have previous experience in a similar role and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to make decisions and take responsibility.
Experience working in homeware would be beneficial however is not essential.
