Print & Graphic Designer (12-Month FTC) Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Print & Graphic Designer to join a highly successful and expanding fashion business, working across a broad range of product areas.
The Print & Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating commercial, trend-led graphics and prints, working closely with the wider design team to develop ranges in line with customer briefs.
Print & Graphic Designer (12-Month FTC) Responsibilities:
- Design and develop commercial graphics and print across multiple product areas.
- Work to customer briefs and contribute to range development and presentations.
- Create CADs, colourways, artwork and print layouts.
- Research current fashion trends, colours, prints and market direction.
- Attend customer meetings and present design concepts where required.
- Create and maintain accurate tech packs and artwork specifications.
- Liaise with overseas factories and suppliers throughout the development process.
- Review samples, strike-offs, and artwork submissions, making amendments where required.
- Work closely with the wider design and product teams to ensure products are developed to brief and delivered on time.
Additional Information
The ideal candidate will be creative, commercially minded and have a strong interest in fashion, print and graphics. They will be self-motivated, highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong CAD skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are essential, alongside a good understanding of print, colour and artwork development.
Previous experience in a similar Print, Graphic or Fashion Design role is desirable, ideally within a fashion supplier or fast-paced fashion environment. A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work will be advantageous.
