Merchandiser Overview
Our wonderful client is looking for a self-motivated Merchandiser to become an integral part of their ladieswear team. As one of the three at Merchandiser level, your purpose is to create and monitor range plans, campaign spend vs. budget and analyse BI data for range expansion.
Merchandiser Responsibilities
- Analyse sales history including price points, customer insights, size curves and retail data
- Utilise the data to assist creation of range plans by category each season
- Drive divisional performance
- Create seasonal budgets and buy plans based on previous history and future trends
- Manage the open-to-buy in line with the agreed budgets
- Manage product life cycle
- Work with the trading team to launch product and review how to improve performance
- Analyse stock offers to identify gaps and opportunities
Merchandiser Skills and Experience
- Previous Merchandising experience within a retail environment is essential
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Ability to self-prioritise your workload
