A highly recognised and highly successful company is looking for an Inbound Merchandising Manager to join their dynamic team.

 

Merchandiser Responsibilities

  • Manage the Open-to-Buy (OTB) budget, monitoring stock investment against plan and taking action to ensure financial and inventory targets are achieved.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders in line with merchandise plans and forecasts, ensuring optimum stock availability across the product range.
  • Analyse sales, stock, intake and availability data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, making recommendations to maximise sales and minimise markdown.
  • Monitor inventory levels and supply chain performance, balancing availability, stock turn, cash flow and customer demand.
  • Work closely with Buying, Supply Chain and wider commercial teams to ensure accurate forecasting, timely deliveries and effective stock flow.
  • Identify slow-moving or excess stock and support actions to improve sell-through and optimise stock holding.
  • Communicate stock, supplier and delivery issues to relevant stakeholders, working collaboratively to minimise disruption to trade.
  • Produce and maintain accurate merchandising reports, using data to support commercial decision-making and performance reviews.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Inbound Supply Chain team, creating a collaborative and high-performing working environment.
  • Continuously review merchandising and inventory processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and commercial performance.

 

Additional Information

You will have a proven background in supply inventory planning, stock management, or merchandising, with strong commercial awareness and excellent organisational skills.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong planning, forecasting and stock management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service and business outcomes.
