Menswear Designer Overview
An amazing opportunity has come up for a Menswear Designer to join a thriving fashion company.
The Menswear Designer will work alongside the sales and design team to produce commercial, on-trend ranges of licensed apparel across multi product Menswear, this will include designing graphics and prints as well as garment shapes.
Menswear Designer Responsibilities;
- Work to customer briefs, attend customer meetings and work closely with the customers design and buying teams
- Regularly liaise with licensors
- Carry out trend and market research, which will include attending comp shopping trips, inspiration shopping trips and trade shows
- Sourcing fabrics and trims
- Work with factories overseas and create detailed tech packs to be sent across to factories
Additional Information
The Menswear Designer must have some previous experience in a design role, with strong CAD skills and a good knowledge of fabrics and trims.
Licensing experience would be ideal for this role.
