We’re working with a thriving fashion supplier. As they continue to expand, they’re looking to recruit a talented Menswear Casual Bottoms Designer to take ownership of their woven bottoms category.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer who enjoys combining trend research with commercial product development, creating ranges that seamlessly balance style, fit and functionality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and developing menswear casual woven bottoms including cargos, parachute pants, utility trousers, chinos, shorts and jogger-inspired styles.
  • Identifying emerging trends, fabrics, washes and garment details to keep ranges fresh and relevant.
  • Creating customer-focused collections tailored to retailer briefs and target markets.
  • Producing detailed CADs, technical packs and development artwork.
  • Working closely with product development and overseas manufacturing teams throughout the sampling process.
  • Attending customer meetings and contributing to range presentations.
  • Researching competitor activity and analysing market trends.
  • Sourcing innovative fabrics, trims and finishing techniques.
  • Supporting the development of seasonal collections from concept through to production.

About You

  • Previous experience within menswear design, with exposure to woven bottoms.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit and fabrication.
  • Commercially minded with a good eye for emerging trends.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience working within a supplier or fast-paced fashion environment would be advantageous.
  • Confident managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.

Why Apply?

  • Join a well-established and growing supplier with an impressive customer portfolio.
  • Work within a collaborative and creative design team.
  • Opportunity to have real influence on product direction and category growth.
  • Excellent exposure to major high street retailers and fashion brands.
  • Based in Manchester with genuine opportunities for career progression.

If you’re looking to specialise within a key menswear category and want to be part of a business where your ideas and creativity will be valued, we’d love to hear from you.
