Knitwear Designer Overview

An exciting opportunity has come up for a dynamic and proactive Knitwear Designer to join a highly successful fashion company.

The Knitwear Designer will work on ranges across high street customer accounts and be able to use their own initiative, with some previous experience working on knitwear.

Knitwear Designer Responsibilities

  • Analyse current and future trends and interpret these into mood boards and commercial ranges
  • Work on ranges in line with customer briefs
  • Attend comp and inspiration shopping trips
  • Design CADs
  • Liaise with the factories in the Far East regularly, sending CADs and packs
  • Attend customer meetings, build and develop customer relationships, and present designs

Additional Information

The Knitwear Designer must have some previous experience in a similar role and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
