Imports Executive Overview
A key role has become available within this fast-paced, quality fashion brand for an Inbound Executive. Your purpose is to manage the flow of goods from suppliers to the three warehouses and retail teams. You will be the point of contact for the logistics provider and the warehouse partner, and arrange stock transfers, shipments and claims where necessary.
Imports Executive Responsibilities
- Direct point of contact for the UK, EU and US 3PLs
- Direct point of contact for the freight forwarder, working with Bendor and their system to ensure goods are ready
- Updating delivery schedule weekly with production in transit, delivery dates and quantities, and reporting any discrepancies
- Creating and sending pre-advice notification to 3PL
- Creating weekly reports with any warehousing issues and reporting back to relevant teams
- Weekly catch up with Merchandising team to ensure the 3PLs are aligned with the ERP stock master
- Onboarding new suppliers and ensuring SLAs and L&P standards are met
- Ensuring the warehouse is fully stock with consumables
- Updating warehouses with calendar for weekly drops
- Arranging stock transfers between warehouses and retail stores
Imports Executive Skills and Experience
- Experience working with 3PLs is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
