Import Merchandiser / Account Manager Overview
We have a new super exciting opportunity for a Wholesale Merchandiser / Account Manager to join this renowned company, specifically working in their babywear division. You will be a driving force behind this new range that is being created, working with a key high street retailer.
Import Merchandiser / Account Manager Responsibilities
- Daily communication with the Buyers
- Managing the critical path, adding styles and ensure deadlines are being adhered to
- Dealing with orders once they have landed
- Getting products sampled and daily liaison with the factories based in Sri Lanka
- Attending meetings with the customers
- Working cross-functionally with the other teams internally, including design, product development and technical
- Negotiating costings with the factories
Import Merchandiser / Account Manager Skills and Experience
- Experience within babywear and/or childrenswear is essential, and therefore has a sound knowledge of the make up and regulations
- Demonstrated experience liaising with factories in the Far East and examples of issues you have resolve
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Acute attention to detail
