Head of Merchandising Overview 

A new retail company are imminently launching and looking to recruit a proactive Head of Merchandising.  You will be commercially focused and have a passion for merchandising, with a track record in leadership roles.

 

Head of Merchandising Responsibilities 

  • Develop a comprehensive merchandising strategy to meet and exceed the expectations
  • Implement a product capacity management system, which will be continually monitored, to ensure the factories workflow is consistent to manage production efficiency
  • Manage the purchase order critical path with clients to ensure orders flow smoothly
  • Work with the sales and design teams to ensure early sight od orders
  • Leverage technology to develop systems that can enhance production workflow and efficiency
  • Continuously analyse sales data to maximise existing opportunities and to improve rebuy potential opportunities
  • Engage and manage the recruitment of the growing team
  • Represent the company and act as an ambassador for the business
