Creative Sales Account Manager (Textiles)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Creative Sales Account Manager to join a well-established textile business, working with a wide range of clients across fashion, costume, and education sectors.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in textiles, fashion, or design, who is passionate about building relationships and driving sales within a creative industry. The position will involve managing key accounts across the UK, with some opportunity for international travel.

 

Creative Sales Account Manager – Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across fashion, education, and costume sectors
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within both UK and international markets
  • Attend customer meetings, present fabric collections, and respond to client briefs
  • Provide product guidance and support to customers, ensuring a high level of service throughout
  • Plan and organise customer visits, managing accounts from enquiry through to delivery
  • Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to support content creation and brand presence
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
  • Work towards and exceed sales targets and KPIs

 

Creative Sales Account Manager – Skills & Experience

  • Background in textiles, fashion, costume, or a related creative field
  • Previous experience in a sales or account management role is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships
  • A keen interest in trends within fashion and textiles
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive and driven, with a customer-focused approach
  • Confident presenting to clients and managing multiple accounts
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional international trips
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
