Creative Sales Account Manager (Textiles)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Creative Sales Account Manager to join a well-established textile business, working with a wide range of clients across fashion, costume, and education sectors.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in textiles, fashion, or design, who is passionate about building relationships and driving sales within a creative industry. The position will involve managing key accounts across the UK, with some opportunity for international travel.
Creative Sales Account Manager – Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across fashion, education, and costume sectors
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within both UK and international markets
- Attend customer meetings, present fabric collections, and respond to client briefs
- Provide product guidance and support to customers, ensuring a high level of service throughout
- Plan and organise customer visits, managing accounts from enquiry through to delivery
- Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to support content creation and brand presence
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
- Work towards and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Creative Sales Account Manager – Skills & Experience
- Background in textiles, fashion, costume, or a related creative field
- Previous experience in a sales or account management role is desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships
- A keen interest in trends within fashion and textiles
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and driven, with a customer-focused approach
- Confident presenting to clients and managing multiple accounts
- Willingness to travel, including occasional international trips
- Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
