Account Manager Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join a highly successful fashion company.
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of high-street retail customers, working across Ladieswear, Menswear and Kidswear.
Working closely with the in-house design and development teams, the Account Manager will identify opportunities within existing customer accounts, develop commercially strong product and present ranges to customers. The role will be key in driving sales, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Account Manager Responsibilities
- Managing and developing strong relationships with existing high-street retail customers
- Growing and developing existing accounts across Ladieswear, Menswear and Kidswear
- Identifying new opportunities and areas for growth within existing customer accounts
- Understanding customer briefs and working closely with the in-house design and development teams to develop product in line with customer requirements
- Presenting and selling ranges to customers through meetings, range reviews and presentations
- Working closely with customers throughout the product development process to ensure their requirements are met
- Driving sales performance and delivering commercial targets
- Negotiating prices, margins and delivery to achieve commercial objectives
- Liaising closely with overseas factories throughout the product development process
- Working collaboratively with design, development and production teams to ensure product is delivered to the required standard and within agreed timescales
- Monitoring customer activity and market trends to identify opportunities and support account growth
Additional Information
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar commercial role within the fashion industry, with experience working with high-street retail customers across Ladieswear, Menswear or Kidswear.
