Senior Import Merchandiser Overview

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Senior Import Merchandiser to join this thriving professional business, based in the outskirts of Manchester City Centre.

The chosen Senior Import Merchandiser will manage a specific account working across multi-product ranges, including jersey, wovens, knit and outerwear for ladies, men’s and childrenswear.

Senior Import Merchandiser Responsibilities

  • Costing orders with factories in multiple territories including China, Bangladesh, Pakistan and the UK.
  • Raising POs
  • Creating & understanding critical paths
  • Chasing suppliers for submissions to maintain the CP.
  • Approving submissions such as lab dips and strike offs and measuring samples to approved internal spec sheets.
  • Arranging shipping of goods from source to UK.
  • Booking stock into end customer & leasing with forwarders.

Senior Import Merchandiser Additional Information

This is a hybrid position, with Fridays from home and a 3pm finish.

Monday to Thursday in the office – 8:30am – 4pm.
