Garment Technologist (12 month contract) Overview
As a Garment Technologist, you’ll support the product development team in creating and refining our garments from concept through production. You’ll manage garment specifications, samples, and technical data to ensure all products meet quality, compliance, and customer standards. This role bridges communication between internal teams and overseas suppliers, keeping projects on track and technically accurate.
Garment Technologist (12 month contract) Responsibilities
- Collaborate with factories and the Quality team on product and sample development.
- Prepare and maintain technical packs, specifications, and documentation.
- Oversee fit sessions, approve samples, and validate production quality.
- Ensure garments meet performance, certification, and sustainability standards.
- Manage critical paths, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Produce technical drawings, and size charts, improving accuracy and consistency.
Garment Technologist (12 month contract) Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to prioritise tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas.
