Ecommerce Manager Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join a thriving and fast-growing business based just outside Manchester City Centre.
You’ll take full ownership managing ecommerce websites for two of the company’s leading brands. This is a hands-on position suited to someone entrepreneurial, driven, and confident working independently to build and scale a D2C operation from the ground up.
Ecommerce Manager Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to grow, and trade two high-performing brand websites
- Oversee all aspects of online product listings, content accuracy, and pricing
- Manage website inventory and ensure optimal stock levels
- Take full ownership of D2C website trading performance
- Implement and manage SEO strategies to maximise visibility and traffic
- Analyse site performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support online growth
- Work closely with directors to align digital strategy with wider business goals
- Manage payment integrations, including Klarna
Ecommerce Manager Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in ecommerce management or trading, ideally within retail or consumer brands
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Passionate about building brands online and delivering best-in-class customer experiences
