Buyer Account Manager Overview

A UK based Manufacturing Hub are looking for an Buyer / Account Manager to join their dynamic team, working across multi product ranges. The Buyer / Account Manager will build multiproduct apparel, footwear and accessories ranges for womenswear and some menswear and childrenswear, and must have excellent knowledge of fabrics and a keen commercial eye.

Buyer Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with the buyers at your customers, who are based in the UK and US
  • Developing products with the designers
  • Continuously researching new trends and how they can be translated, ensuring commercial awareness
  • Managing the costings end to end with the factories
  • Order negotiation and confirming with the buyers
  • Critical path management and follow up of orders

Buyer Account Manager Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills as you will be working with your offices internationally in Manchester, London and India, and factories in the UK and Far East
  • Work at speed in the fast-paced environment with a fast turnaround
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload for the best outcome

Buyer Account Manager Additional Information

You must be happy to travel, including for overseas buying, inspiration and manufacturing trips, as and when.

This is a hybrid working position, 4 days in the office.
