Assistant Knitwear Designer Overview

 

We are working with an dynamic fashion company who are looking for an Assistant Knitwear Designer to join their design team.

 

The Assistant Knitwear Designer will be working on Shima software so previous experience in this will be beneficial, however is not essential.

 

Assistant Knitwear Designer responsibilities;

 

• Carrying out trend and market research, creating mood boards and assisting in designing ranges
• Carrying out general admin tasks, updating spreadsheets, raising orders, etc
• Liaising with overseas factories and mills
• Working to customer briefs
• Managing the sample process

 

Additional Information

 

The Assistant Knitwear Designer will have an on-trend, commercial eye for design and be educated to degree level in a relevant field.
